National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) and the Department of Employment & Training (DET), Telangana signed an agreement on 24.04.2026 recognising DET as an Awarding Body (AB-Dual).
DET Telangana was recognised as an Awarding Body (AB-Dual) by NCVET — eligible to award, assess and certify learners through ITIs, Advanced Technology Centres and empanelled training partners.
The "Integrated STEM Systems Design & Prototyping Junior Technician" qualification has been explicitly approved for rollout across ITIs and Advanced Technology Centers.
